Students with a temperature of over 100ºF must stay home.
AT SCHOOL:
Symptoms- If a student begins exhibiting symptoms, they will be sent to the Health Office, isolated from peers and sent home.
Students will need to be picked-up promptly and will be supervised by staff until an authorized adult arrives.
Symptomatic individuals will need to follow the procedures for safe return to school (outlined below).
NOTE: Any individual testing positive for COVID-19 is required to notify the school so we may engage county health officials in contact tracing and communication.
• What if my child is quarantined for 10 or more days? How will they continue to receive instruction?
Students who are required to quarantine for 10 or more days, either because they are symptomatic or because they may have been a close contact of a C-19+ individual, will be provided work to complete from home in lieu of in-person attendance. Similar to regularly scheduled “home days” this work will likely include both synchronous and asynchronous elements that are similar to those activities that individuals in the classroom setting may be completing. In such a case, the classroom teacher will coordinate with students on an as-needed basis.
