Classroom

The following information details the student experience in the classroom

• Classrooms will be cleaned and sanitized regularly, including a deep cleaning on Distance Learning Wednesdays.

• Upon entering and exiting the classroom, students/staff will utilize hand sanitizer stationed near the door and be provided wipes to sanitize their desk area.

• Students will use wipes to sanitize their desk space as they enter the classroom and prior to leaving the classroom.

• Student desks will be spaced 4-6 ft. apart in accordance with social distancing.

• Students have been issued Chromebooks to support distance learning. These devices will be brought to school on in-person days, and taken home on home days to limit contact with other students’ materials.

  • Students who do not currently have a district issued chrome book device will be checked-out a device on their first day of in-person learning. Please contact danielle.deleon@carlsbadusd.net if you do not have a district issued Chromebook device.

• Students will be released individually to utilize the restroom when needed. Campus supervisors will monitor restrooms to reinforce students not congregating in restroom spaces.
