How do I access my counselor?
Via email communications (CUSD Gmail & School Loop) On Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday (outside of academic day) from 1:00 pm - 2:45 pm through virtual (web-based) appointments. Students may also identify additional times that work with their schedule (e.g. Off Roll periods, asynchronous days) that virtual meetings with counselors can be scheduled (in addition to the 1:00-2:45 pm time period). What Services can students/families receive: During virtual appointments, counselors can provide academic and 4 year planning, coordinate parent teacher meetings, post-secondary planning, social and emotional wellness support, and referral to resources aligned with student’s goals. Students can self-schedule appointments through the Google Calendar Appointment links found on the Sage Creek Counseling home webpage, https://sagecreek-cusd-ca.schoolloop.com/hp (link) Also, students can directly access the Counselor Google Calendar Appointment link through the Counselor signature line. On non-academic days and Distance Learning Wednesdays, the counselors are not extending appointments for non-urgent matters. This is due to counselor efforts to coordinate interventions, SST meetings with families as well as collaboratively meet as a department and with teaching colleagues.

This includes while in the classroom, waiting to enter campus, on school grounds, when leaving school and, for students that receive District provided transportation, riding in the van. Students may remove or lower their masks while eating or drinking or during designated times as long as they maintain 6 feet distance. Students may be allowed to remove masks during rigorous activities in outdoor physical education classes and outdoor recreational activities as long as they are able to maintain a distance of at least six feet from others. Schools must exclude students from campus if they are not exempt from wearing a face covering under CDPH guidelines and refuse to wear one provided by the school. Face coverings will be provided to students who inadvertently fail to bring a face covering to school to prevent unnecessary exclusions. CUSD Mask Policy (link)
