Level 1: Can aurally identify higher and lower pitches

Level 2: Can repeat a musical passage they hear by singing. Can hear the difference between Major & minor.

Level 3: Can sight sing a diatonic melodic passage in solfege, given their starting note.

Level 4: Can sight sing a mostly diatonic melodic passage in solfege, with disjunct motion within the tonic triad (Do - Mi - Sol).

Level 5: Can sight sing a simple melodic passage with chromatic alterations. Can also sight sing in two part harmonies with another student.
