Donations can be given to the Hartford Office anytime between now and the trip. For checks, write it to Hartford Upper Elementary and "Camp Hartford" in the memo line.

We do a lot of awesome things at Y Camp. We will eat dinner, breakfast and lunch in their dining hall. We’re going to sleep in cabins. We’re going to have Y Camp staff help lead some cool activities such as horseback riding, rock wall climbing, canoeing, bird watching, looking at life in a stream and in a forest, and other things. And we’re going to use all of their different facilities at the camp. This is going to cost us some money and we’re turning to you.
It costs us $70 per student to do all of these cool things… pretty cheap if you think about it! That’s $70 for three hot meals, a place to sleep, using the shower houses and bathrooms, and all of the fun activities. Since we can’t ask people to pay for the trip, we’re asking that households donate to our Y Camp fund to help pay for the cost of the outing. If we get enough people to donate their share then we won’t have to do fundraisers and door-to-door sales.

To make a donation, you can write a check for $70 (or more) to Hartford Upper Elementary (memo: Y CAMP) and send it with your student to turn into our office.

We have a webstore setup where you can "purchase" a donation to camp! Outside groups and community members can also donate through the webstore too. Contributing online would also allow you to spread out your payment over time, like $10 every week for the next 6 weeks. Click the button below do be taken to the webstore.
We understand that not every family is able to donate to the trip. No child will be denied the trip for not being able to donate. Every kid can go. If you do not donate online, that fee will be removed from your account when the trip is complete.

Our goal is to have 75% of our students donate something, ANYTHING, to our Y Camp trip. Whether it's $70, $1, or $100, our hope is that we can get three quarters of our students to all donate something!
