A STORY FOR SPRING
Spring has now sprung and we can use this context to teach young children about many different concepts. This site contains proposals for teaching children in infant/early years education (3-6 yrs) through a CLIL approach.
Throughout this unit of work, children can learn the following language and concepts:
Vocabulary: duck duckling egg hatch eat swim fly grow spring over above up in small big colours patterns (spotty, striped, speckled, checked) The duck is eating. The ducks are flying. It's a duck. The duckling is small.
The life cycle of a duck.
Characteristics of the spring.
Classification by size or pattern.
