SETT Framework

The SETT Framework is a way to assist you in finding Assisted Technology that might work for your student's specific area of challenge. This site offers a really nice introduction and example of how this looks. Also keep in mind that Utah Assisted Technology Teams' (UATT) purpose is to help support and provide tools for a student to meet their IEP goals. So if a teacher is referring a student for UATT assistance who is struggling with writing, and this student does not have a writing goal, that need should be addressed/added to the IEP.

TechMatrix

The TechMatrix lets you "search a database of nearly 400 products using extensive criteria tailored to assistive and educational technologies." Then you can compare up to four different products and include a price limit. In addition to searching for a product, you can also search for research on the specific topics.
