Description:
Sixth Grade Chorus is an introduction to choral singing where students gain confidence in performing in a choral ensemble. Students become life long learners and understand the connection of music to culture and other arts. A fun introductory and year long course.
Students Will Be Able To:
Perform in a variety of settings for large and small audiences
Gain confidence singing in small and large ensembles
Become proficient in beginning music fundamentals, including sight singing
Become aware of music in our everyday life and how it affects us
(All performances are mandatory. An unexcused absence at a performance will lower final semester grades one letter.)
