Larissa Cunningham has been a vocal and piano instructor for nearly two decades and a choir director for over ten years. Raised in the Texas Panhandle, she graduated from Borger High School and earned her Bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech University, followed by a Master’s in Choral Conducting in 2024.
She served as Director Prima of Bella Musica, a women’s professional ensemble, from 2013 to 2017 and has been a choir director in various school districts since 2014.
Married to John Cunningham for 25 years, Larissa has three sons: one at Texas Tech, and two at Amarillo College. She is proud to serve as president of the High Plains Choral Society, Vocal Region Chair for TMEA Region 1, and to serve her second year at Canyon High School.
