Hey Band Families
Happy last week of school. This week was jam-packed. Students competed in the final event of this year's band Olympics, the music stand relay. Congratulations to the trumpet section, which won and was awarded the coveted golden music stand.
6th and 7th-grade students joined together to play pomp and circumstance for the promoting 8th-grade students and did a great job. It is always fun to support our outgoing 8th graders.
Upcoming events
While the school year may be over, there are still some dates and events to remember. The Canby Music Boosers are still looking for volunteers for their fireworks booth. Working a shift at the booth is the best way to support the band and help raise money for your student.
If you have a student participating in the CHS Freshan band next year, now is the time to get them registered for this year's band camp. Infirmation will be linked below as well as in the documents and forms tab.
