Mr. Shields and Ms. Erin will work with our students to foster passions, encourage inquiry, and empower students to engage in agency through collaboration and critical thinking. They will strive to inspire students to engage in action and reflection while they facilitate students' learning journeys.
Ms. Riana will continue to support English as Additional Language learners throughout the PYPx process. She will help to scaffold the research process for our EAL learners and support students that may choose to present in their home language.
Mr Hylden will continue to support learners throughout the PYPx process.
Ms. Brown will continue to support learners and teachers throughout the PYPx process by addressing issues such as stress, anxiety, and managing well-being.
Ms. Shigeta assists all of the students with their technology needs throughout the Exhibition. She will also be working with learners who feel technology is a necessary part of their Action.
Mrs. Schatzky will be supporting learners through the research and academic honesty components of the PYPX. She will assist students in finding resources, gathering information, and creating bibliographies. Students will have the opportunity to work with Mrs. Schatzky during whole class instruction, as well as during one-on-one sessions. Students will be encouraged to use resources from both the physical library (books, newspapers, magazines) and the virtual library (online databases and other research tools).
Ms. Tangala and Ms. Go will support learners who choose Visual Arts or Music to express their learning through the Artistic Expression element of PYPx. They will also be working with learners who feel The Arts is a necessary part of their Action.
