Living away from home and family can be difficult, so we strive to develop relationships that feel like family and an environment that feels like home. Canadian Academy’s Gloucester House is located on the school campus and welcomes students from around the world, including many students from distant areas within Japan, in grades 8-12. We have a small facility with room for 26 students. This small number allows boarding students to develop close relationships with each other.
There are many advantages to living on campus. For starters, your commute to school takes less than 5 minutes. Dormies (as our residents have affectionately been dubbed) have easy access to the sports fields, tennis courts and fitness facilities. We are also just a 10-minute walk to nearest Rokko Liner station which can take you to explore Kobe and beyond.
Practical Information – what to bring, medical insurance and health services, finances, visa support and holiday closures.
Life in the Dorm – curfew, attendance, meals, visitors, room checks
Dorm Community Members – Meet the dorm staff!
We hope you are as excited as we are for you to start a new adventure with us! If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.
