Annual Lifeguard Certifications

As part of our staff’s commitment to providing a safe and fun summer camp experience, and to gain some new skills, staff participate in training and orientation each year.

Leading up to the  summer season this year, staff were certified in  Lifeguarding, Wilderness First Aid, and High Ropes. These skills are critical for some of our favorite parts of Onas life– pool activities, the Voyager, and the Zip Line! 

All summer staff participate in orientation the week before First Session, where they continue to learn, prepare, and come up with new ideas together. 

All of their hard work helps make this another fantastic Onas summer! Three big ones for our summer staff!
