Giving Tuesday is a global day of giving that was founded for the world to give back following Thanksgiving, Black Friday, and Cyber Monday. On November 30, Kesem and its students leaders engage in a large effort to fundraise for our campers. Our chapter has many creative, fun ways to help you fundraise on Giving Tuesday. We will update this page with more information as the big day approaches. We look forward to a fun-filled day with you!

Giving Tuesday is going to be a party! Come celebrate this global day of giving with us as we fundraise $55,000 for Kesem Berkeley.
From 8 a.m. - midnight on Giving Tuesday, Kesem members will fundraise together in our headquarters (HQ). HQ is where the magic happens– we will have fun doing alumni dares, sending emails, making phone calls, posting on social media, eating yummy snacks, and playing fun party games! Sign up for when you can spend time in HQ (did we hear you say all day?!)!
HQ will be held in the Tilden room in MLK building (near Sproul). Tilden is on the 5th floor of MLK; we recommend taking the elevator up! From 10 p.m. - midnight, we will relocate to Unit 1.
Join the Alumni Dares Facebook Page! On Giving Tuesday, Kesem Berkeley Alumni will post dares on this page throughout the day. In return for completion of a dare, you will get a donation to your Classy page. This is a super fun way to fundraise and engage with our alumni!

Alumni Dares 2020: Compilation Video
On Giving Tuesday, Camp Kesem Berkeley alumni will "dare" student volunteers to do silly things in exchange for donations. This takes place in a Facebook group where students can "claim" dares. Alumni dares are a very special CKB tradition and fun way to raise money on Giving Tuesday! Here is a video of some of the crazy things that our volunteers did in 2020.
