Communicate with camper families and plan Warm Welcomes to get our campers excited about camp

Through our Communication Committee, you will help us in one of our most important tasks on the Outreach team– communicating to camper families! Before each of our Friends and Family Day (F+FD) and other misc. Kesem events, we call each of our families to inform them of upcoming events and important updates. In addition, you will also help us plan and execute “Warm Welcomes” for our campers, which are fun care-packages we send to get them excited about camp! Items include little gifts, Kesem swag, welcome cards, etc. If you’re looking to get more involved in Kesem and want to get to know some of our camper families, join our Communication Committee!

Recruit new camper families, focusing on diversity, equity, and inclusion

Our goal for recruitment is to focus on Diversity, Equity & Inclusion and catering our mission to better align with underserved and underrepresented communities outside of our normal camper/family population. As part of this committee, you will help locate and secure community contacts and campers with our provided resources, guidelines, and support. A community contact is a person who can spread the word about Camp Kesem to prospective families and support our outreach and recruitment efforts through relationship building and trust. We would love your help in growing this community of support!
