Each coordinator team manages 1-2 committees to work on projects and tasks together (outlined below). Committees will meet regularly and are a great way to get more involved in the Camp Kesem Berkeley community and support our chapter!

Alumni engagement, social media, send out newsletters, plan senior send-off, send camper birthday cards, design gear
SPECIAL EVENTS - decorate and organize birthday cards for our campers and help us plan senior send off
ALUMNI - plan Alumni engagement events
Organize large & small chapter fundraising events, support individual fundraising, plan Giving Tuesday, steward our donors
GIVING TUESDAY & STEWARDSHIP COMMITTEE - plan Giving Tuesday and steward our donors throughout the year
Plan large gala fundraiser in the spring; includes guests, sponsorships, decorations, activities, and more
BUSINESS SPONSORSHIP COMMITTEE - reach out to businesses for sponsorships, auction items, and donations
DESIGN COMMITTEE - plan decorations, activities, and day-of logistics
Plan Friends + Family Days and camp, gather in-kind donations, and TLP focuses on our teen campers
FRIENDS + FAMILY DAY COMMITTEE - plan Friends + Family Days
IN-KIND DONATIONS COMMITTEE - plan in-kind donation drives and solicit donations from companies
Communicate with camper families to provide year-round support, recruiting and retaining campers and community contacts, and more
COMMUNICATION COMMITTEE - communicate with camper families and plan Warm Welcomes to get our campers excited about camp
RECRUITMENT COMMITTEE- recruit new camper families, focusing on diversity, equity, and inclusion
Volunteer recruitment and retenetion, prepare and train volunteers, foster community among student leaders; the go-to leader for all college student leaders
SOCIAL COMMITTEE - plan social events for student volunteers
VOCO JUNIORS - support VoCo in recruiting student volunteers, counselor appreciation, and counselor trainings
