In pursuit of SDGs 14 (Life Below Water) and 15 (Life on Land), the SGBA provides a proxy measure of habitat biodiversity on land and in the water, respectively. The following lists the terrestrial, freshwater and marine tropical ecosystems and their respective habitats evaluated by the SGBA (see table below). The habitats listed were adopted and adapted from, and added to the 14 habitats found in the Biodiversity Impact Assessment (BIA) guidelines of Singapore’s National Parks Board (2024) 1.
