Right Click on the First (Largest) Gear and choose "Float"
Mate>Coincident >Front Face & Front Plane
Repeat to both Gears
Mate>Concentric>Inside circle edge & Circle sketch
Repeat to both Gears
Click front face of the 15 tooth Gear>New Sketch
Draw circle and use the circular sketch pattern to recreate the image below
Extrude Cut circles
Save As Gears Keychain
File>New>Part.
Front Plane>New Sketch
Follow the images to construct the gear box.
Create two circles.
Be sure to start first circle on the "origin".
Draw tangent lines at the top and bottom of the two circles.
Trim away the inner lines and arcs.
Offset the outer edge by 1/16".

Extrude Boss/Base 3/16".
Sweep Extrude
Right Plane>New Sketch.
Change Display to Hidden Lines Visible.
Draw a line & arc at the top of "Housing" and dimension as shown in the image below.
Change display back to Shaded with Edges.
Swept Boss/Base.
Choose Sketch 2 for the Profile.
Right Click in the Path section and choose SelectionManager.
Click on select group in the new selection panel.
Select the outer edge of the housing. When complete, click the green check on the selection panel.
Click OK to create the sweep as shown below.
Sweep Cut
Right Plane>New Sketch.
Change Display to Hidden Lines Visible.
Draw a line & arc at the bottom of "Housing" and dimension as shown in the image below.
Cut Sweep.
Create bottom platform
New Sketch.
Use Convert Entities.
Extrude bottom.
Create supports.
New Sketch on back.
Create 2 circles on the centers.
On the left circle, draw an construction line connecting the 2 circles.
Use Circular Patterns of 3 on construction line
Create 2nd set of supports for the other gear. You need to change the center point to the right circle.
Offset line to create gear platform.
Trim of excess
Extrude or Cut gear platform.
Extrude gear shafts.
Cut shaft
New Sketch.
Draw Const. Line down from the center of the circle. Make it longer then the initial circles.
Use Circular Patterns of 3 on construction line.
Use the Offset Tool on the Const. Lines.
Close the ends of the offsets with the Line Tool.
Extrude Cut, Up to Surface.
Mirror feature.
Offset new Plane at .3907
Create eyelet at the smaller end.
New Sketch> Front Plane.
Follow the dimensions below.
Extrude Boss/Base
Extrude Cut Hole
Fillet the edges
Fillet eyelet, backside.
Save As Gear Housing
Assemble the Gears and the Gear Housing in the Gears Keychain Assembly.
Mate>Coincident>Inner gear circle & Out face of Box Shaft.
Fix the Housing.
Mate>Coincident >Back Face Gear & Face of Housing supports.
Mate > Mechanical Mate.
Gear.
Select the two gears, the incircles edges.
Ratio.
Ø 15/16".
Ø 5/8".
Check OK.
Apply 3 different Plastic Medium Gloss colored materials to the gears and housing.
Motion Manager
Change to Basic Motion
Settings
50 Frames
Drag Slider to 10 sec
Contact Relations
Select the two gears
Select Motor
Select Face of large gear
20 rpm
Select Calculate
Save As "MP4" video file
