Social/ Emotional Skills

*FREE PLAY: Let your child explore with their toys. Give them time to be creative and see what they come up with. Can they make a restaurant and pretend to serve you food? Can they set up a vet and take care of all their stuffed animals? Maybe they have a garden and need to plant all the flowers and vegetables and take care of them. Let them have time to really get into their play and create different play scenarios.

*Help your child label their feelings. Sad, happy, angry, excited, etc. Talk to them about what each feeling looks like.

Self- Help Skills

*Practice washing hands, going through the following steps: Wet hands, put on a squirt of soap, scrub hands together (covering all areas) while singing happy birthday 2 times, lastly rinse with water.
