*Identifying uppercase and lowercase letters Aa-Zz:

*Use letter cards to practice identifying letters

*Play memory or a matching/ go fish game.

*Identifying sounds each letter makes:

*Give your child a letter and have them go around the house to find objects that begin with that

letter.

*Have your child cut out pictures from a magazine that begin with a certain letter.

*Play I spy and have your child find things that begin with a certain letter (Play outside, on a

walk, driving in the car, etc).

*Identifying rhyming words:

*Use provided pictures to match rhymes.

*Gather objects around the house that rhyme.

*Have your child create a rhyming book by drawing pictures of things that rhyme.

*Play rhyming I spy (You spy an object and have your child spy an object that rhymes with it).
