This was the hardest cast/crew list we have ever made! Please know that we took FOREVER to consider all the possibilities, but at the end of the day, we do have to make a choice and there are only so many parts to give out. We love you all!!! You are all so talented :)

All ads and stages whispers for the Little Mermaid must be submitted by 10/16/26!!!
All ads and stages whispers for the Little Mermaid must be submitted by 10/16/26!!!
All cast and crew are encouraged to submit a stage whisper bio for the program. This is not required, but makes the program much more fun to read! Shout out ads are traditionally bought by family and friends to get their beloved student featured in the program making them a great way to turn the program into mementos. Local businesses are encouraged to buy ad spaces as well. We love to show love to the community that supports us! All fund raised via the program are directly used to buy sets supplies, costumes, etc. for the kids to make more theatre!

Background Checks - All adults who will interact with our students or money MUST submit a background check to the Caledonia Resource Center 10 days before they wish to come in. This includes parent volunteers. It is highly recommended that you go ahead and submit a background check if you AT ALL think you might want to come in to help with the production. Send background checks to brennanm@calschools.org
Matinee Potluck Sign Up - Traditionally, we have a potluck to feed the kids between shows on our two-show days. Have fun with this! Remember, there are about 80 kiddos to feed, and we will also need help with clean-up/take-down. If you plan on your child eating from the potluck, it is expected that you contribute something to the potluck.
Show Week Jobs Sign Up - These are jobs for which we will need a particular number of slots filled for each show. If you volunteer for a job, you will get to see that show for free! Jobs include: Backstage Helper, Ticker Seller, Flowergram Table, Concession Stand, Usher, and Bringer of Snacks!
Reimbursement Form - If you are buying something for the production, you will need to fill out a reimbursement form to get paid back. All purchases must be preapproved by the director, and all forms must be signed by the director. Forms must also be turned in with original receipts. If this is your first time being reimbursed, the CRC may contact you for more information (they may have you fill out a first-time account form). Turn reimbursement forms into the director of the show with original receipts.
How else can parents help?
Locker Tags
This is a school tradition that goes way back. Parents make decorative 8X5 cards with the kids' names and roles. These then go on their lockers. If anyone wants to take on this project, the kids would love it!
Photos
It would be SUPER awesome if someone (or a group) could take photos of the kids having fun for memories. If we could get them on a drive format and share them with all the parents, that would be great!!!
Where do parents/family get tickets?
All cast, crew, and pit will get 2 free comp tickets. These will be paper tickets given to the kids the week before the show. Should you want more than two tickets, you will need to purchase them either at the door or via our link (ticket link coming soon!)

Not everyone is called to every rehearsal! All rehearsals are in the FAC in North Campus unless stated. Crazy Saturday and the following week are mandatory for all cast and crew. Tech/crew are not required to attend until techie day. We will go over the calendar together at the first meeting. If you are having a hard time reading the calendar, just wait until then. We will walk you through it in person :)

For this program, we have been given RehearScore. This program allows you to listen to the vocal parts of the songs at home! You can download the MTI Player Application from the App Store, but there are a bunch of ways to access the score!
Download the RehearScore mobile app to get started learning the music! Sign in with username "littlemermaid" and password "95348993"
Strike will take place directly after the last show. No one goes home until we are done. This show shouldn't take more than about 60 minutes to clean up if everyone is working together. THIS WILL GO FASTER IF PARENTS HELP!
