Caitlin Ayers
Principal
This is my 7th year at CAVA, and I have been in education for 17 years. I have a master’s degree in Online Instruction and my Administrative Services credential from the University of California, Irvine. I live in Rancho Cucamonga (Southern California) with my husband of 14 years, David, and our two sons, Dylan and Derek. In our free time, our family loves to spend time outdoors at the local parks or take short road trips to places of interest. I look forward to serving our 7th-grade students and their families.

Natalie Ackerman
I have been in the field of education for over 25 years. I started my career in Catholic school education and then joined CAVA and the wonderful world of virtual education & working from home after my daughter was born. The 24-25 school year will be my 17th year with CAVA and mark my 11th year as a CAVA administrator. I’m a proud University of Michigan graduate (Go Blue!) and in addition to my teaching credential from Holy Names University, I have a Certificate in Educational Therapy from UC Berkeley, and just recently completed my Master’s Degree in Online Instruction with Southern New Hampshire University. I’m forever both a student and educator!
My favorite part of my work day is anytime I’m in a classroom. I’m inspired so much by the instruction of our teachers and the learning by our students. Getting to know our students and seeing them engaged in their learning with our teachers is such a joy.
When I’m not working, I’m active in my church, love going to the theatre –especially when it is to see my daughter perform, I can often be found reading, and I enjoy singing with and hanging out with my teenager (when she’ll tolerate me!) We have a rescue dog who loves to cuddle up under my desk. I’m so grateful to be a part of CAVA Middle School!

Lauren has worked in education for 15 years in both teacher and admin roles. Her top priority as an administrator here at CAVA is ensuring her teachers and families feel supported and encouraged.
In her free time, she loves traveling with her husband and three kids.
