ORN010 FALL/SPRING ONLINE LEARNING HIGH SCHOOL (2.5 credits) - The Online Learning: High School course is an introduction to the virtual learning environment for high school students with information for Learning Coaches. Topics include an orientation to people and parts of an online school, the online school platform, opportunities for socializing, sample assessments, and tips about how to create an effective learning environment, manage time, and be successful. Each lesson has video tutorials, printable guides, and practice activities such as sending e-mail or creating schedules and backup plans. Veteran students and Learning Coaches share personal experiences and advice. This course is required for all CAVA high school students each semester.
