For online connections with other families, a Communication Agreement is required. Parents/Legal Guardians can contact the Homeroom teacher or GC to request information regarding the CAVA HS 2021-2022 Communication Agreement.

Associated Student Body

Here at CAVA, we want kids to be engaged and apart of a community. The activities set up by ASB make this happen through activities for kids to display their talents and have fun with others. Visit the CAVA ASB website for more info!

CAVA Outings

Connect with CAVA staff, students, and families in your local area by attending an upcoming community building outings. CAVA students and their families are invited to attend any event throughout the state. There are In-Person and Virtual Events to choose from. CAVA Esports

We are excited to announce our 2nd year of our CAVA Esports League. 

There are a few ways to participate in CAVA esports.

1. You can play tournaments with the “Stride Esports” program.  Check out https://stride-esports.co/ for info and games you can play. Anyone can play in these tournaments and events.

2. We do have CAVA teams, but our teams are currently in the middle of the Spring season so we are not adding additional players at this time. If you want to tryout for a team to play in the Fall 2023 season, keep an eye on www.cavaesports.com site.

We recommend signing up for a club session through our Student Engagement Newsletter using a personal email address. This is because many times if you use a school email address zoom will not be able to send the invite as the school’s security system will not let the email through. After registering, you should receive a confirmation email containing the session link to join as well as a calendar invite that you can add to your personal calendar that will send a reminder before the session.

National Honor Society

If selected as a NHS member, membership requires you to complete 6 hours of community service each month.   Service can be as simple as picking up trash at the park, volunteering as part of a church youth group, scouting or serving another association in which you volunteer. This does not have to be with a formal charity. The only rules for service are that you cannot be paid for your service and it can’t benefit your immediate family.

Candidates who meet the following criteria will be contacted in the Fall semester to apply for NHS membership:

1. must be in grades 10-12

2. must have completed at least one full semester at CAVA

3. must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 of higher

4. must meet the grade level, attendance, and GPA standard requirements, then shall be considered based on their service, leadership, and character.
