There are a few ways to participate in CAVA esports.
You can play tournaments with the “Stride Esports” program. Check out https://stride-esports.co/ for info and games you can play. Anyone can play in these tournaments and events.
We do have CAVA teams, but our teams are currently in the middle of the Spring season so we are not adding additional players at this time. If you want to tryout for a team to play in the Fall 2023 season, keep an eye on www.cavaesports.com site.
Stride K12 Clubs are back and will start back in August for the 2022-2023 School Year. Click on any of the clubs you are interested in to learn more and register! All Stride K12 clubs listed here: https://www.smore.com/kfeyb
We recommend signing up for a club session through our Student Engagement Newsletter using a personal email address. This is because many times if you use a school email address zoom will not be able to send the invite as the school’s security system will not let the email through. After registering, you should receive a confirmation email containing the session link to join as well as a calendar invite that you can add to your personal calendar that will send a reminder before the session.

If selected as a NHS member, membership requires you to complete 6 hours of community service each month. Service can be as simple as picking up trash at the park, volunteering as part of a church youth group, scouting or serving another association in which you volunteer. This does not have to be with a formal charity. The only rules for service are that you cannot be paid for your service and it can’t benefit your immediate family.
Candidates who meet the following criteria will be contacted in the Fall semester to apply for NHS membership:
1. must be in grades 10-12
2. must have completed at least one full semester at CAVA
3. must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 of higher
4. must meet the grade level, attendance, and GPA standard requirements, then shall be considered based on their service, leadership, and character.
