What Next?

At the CCS Classroom Innovation and Technology Showcase, you learned about a variety of digital tools and/or devices to use in the classroom. Applying for grants is a great way to bring some of those items to your classroom. Here are tips from the CCS Technology Department as you consider writing grants and/or using other funds to purchase technology. We have also included a list of available grants..

Before applying for grants and purchasing new hardware and/or software:

• Contact Technology Department (email Amye Miller ).

• Some items may be purchased through contract pricing.

• Hardware and software must be compatible with CCS systems.

• Regardless of funding source (grants, PTA/PTO, school funds, etc.), new technology must be reviewed for compatibility.
