Family Engagement
The Cadott Community School District believes that parent involvement is a critical element in student success. In addition to direct communication with parents regarding academic and behavioral progress/concerns, parents will be provided with information about ACP activities through the following means:
Articles in The Stinger.
Targeted grade-level updates through Skyward and ClassTag.
Posts on CCSD social media sites.
Parent access to their child's student Xello account.
Parents are encouraged to attend the following conferences to discuss their child's progress:
Parent-Teacher Conferences in the fall and spring.
Individual ACP Conferences with their child's school counselor. Parents are welcome to attend the ACP conference each year, but will receive a special invitation for the Junior ACP Conference.
Parents will also be invited to several special events throughout their child's years in grades 6-12. Those events will include, but are not limited to, the following:
7th Grade Orientation Night-August
Financial Aid Night-fall
High School Orientation Night-spring
Work-Based Learning Information Night-spring
High School Academies Night-spring
Honors Program
Graduation
