Family Engagement

The Cadott Community School District believes that parent involvement is a critical element in student success.  In addition to direct communication  with parents regarding academic and behavioral progress/concerns, parents will be provided with information about ACP activities through the following means:

• Articles in The Stinger.

• Targeted grade-level updates through Skyward and ClassTag.

• Posts on CCSD social media sites.

• Parent access to their child's student Xello account.

Parents are encouraged to attend the following conferences to discuss their child's progress:

• Parent-Teacher Conferences in the fall and spring.

• Individual ACP Conferences with their child's school counselor.  Parents are welcome to attend the ACP conference each year, but will receive a special invitation for the Junior ACP Conference.

Parents will also be invited to several special events throughout their child's years in grades 6-12.  Those events will include, but are not limited to, the following:

• 7th Grade Orientation Night-August

• Financial Aid Night-fall

• High School Orientation Night-spring

• Work-Based Learning Information Night-spring

• High School Academies Night-spring

• Honors Program

• Graduation
