Welcome to The Academy!

Dear Year 8 pupil,

My name is Mrs Kane and I am Head of Year 8 in St Patrick’s Academy. I am delighted to welcome you to our school community. I am really looking forward to meeting you and the other new Year 8 pupils on Wednesday 24th June and also at our Induction Day on Friday 21st August. You will not need to wear your school uniform on these induction dates.

Your Form Tutor is a very important teacher who will support you and look after you during your seven years in St Patrick’s Academy. They will meet you every morning to take your class for registration and will be able to answer any questions you may have.  Your first full day in school will be Friday 28th August and you will need to wear your new school uniform on this date.

I am sure you are very excited about starting St Patrick’s Academy, but I know it is also natural to be a little nervous.  If you are worried or anxious about something or want to tell us anything, please don’t hesitate to contact myself or Mr Campbell, our Vice Principal.
