Learning Leaders Support Scheme 2024/25

The Education Authority is now accepting expressions of interest for the Learning Leaders Support Scheme which provides financial support for teachers, classroom assistants and support staff in Irish Medium schools and units. These bursary awards are designed to support those working in IM schools. In 2023/24, the Education Authority successfully delivered the Learning Leaders Support Scheme providing a bursary to 28 practitioners from within the IM Sector.  This bursary provided a financial contribution to a range of professional learning programmes which helped develop their individual practice.  If you wish to be considered for a bursary in 2024/25 please follow the link below:

Riarann an tÚO Scéim Sparántachta le tacaíocht airgeadais a sholáthar do mhúinteoirí, cúntóirí ranga agus foireann tacaíochta a oibríonn i scoileanna agus in aonaid Lán-Ghaeilge (aitheanta agus deontaschúnta ag an RO), agus atá ag tabhairt faoi staidéar breise le feabhas a chur ar a scileanna teanga, nó scileanna ceannasaíochta a bhaineann le comhthéacs an tumoideachais Lán-Ghaeilge go sainiúil. 

EA administer a Bursary Scheme to provide financial support for teachers, classroom assistants and support staff in IM schools and units (recognised and grant aided by DE), who are undertaking further study to progress their language or leadership skills specific to the Irish-medium, immersion education context.
