TPL Pathway 4: Middle Leaders

In October 2022, a cohort of 28 middle and aspiring Middle Leaders from across our school network embarked on a bespoke Middle Leadership training in collaboration with Stranmillis University College, Belfast. This has provided invaluable opportunities for continued professional development, reflection, and collaboration across our schools.  The course focused on areas including:

• Resilient Leadership Skills

• Operational Leadership and Champion Teams

• Coaching and Mentoring Skills

• Evidence Based Education

The attendees worked on developing school based project ideas that could be driven forward in their own schools. The course culminated in March 2023 with Poster Presentations from each of the groups, this session which was hosted at St.Ronan's College and was attended by Principals and Senior Leaders from across CALC. A massive well done to everyone invovled, there were some excellent ideas and projects show cased on the evening that will no doubt have a positive impact on our CALC schools and students in the future.
