CALC Teachmeet 2024

Following on from our successful virtural Teach Meet, 'Houl on', and our TPL pathways that have been running for the past two years, CALC T&L Group is holding its first Teachmeet on 23 May 2024 in Lurgan College.

Keynote: Gráinne Hughes

We are delighted to be welcoming Gráinne Hughes as our keynote speaker. Originally from Lurgan, she was in the first girl's class to be involved in the Dickson Plan. She has been teaching in Saint Patrick's College, Maghera since graduation and is just completing her 40th year in the College.

Gráinne is primarily a Geography teacher but is a member of SLT, her role involves working with ECTs and the implementation of the College's CPD/TPL programme. She has also been Head of Department for Geography, Co-ordinator of Humanities, Assessment Lead and a member of SLT with responsibility for Teaching and Learning.

The event will finish with a free networking meal where you will get a chance to network and relax with colleague from your own school and others in the Craigavon Learning Community.
