TPL Pathway 1: Relational Learning

This pathway will draw from sources such as A Fair Start with its emphasis on Boys' Underachievement and the role that relational learning plays in addressing that - but with the recogniion that relational learning is relevant to boys and girls.

It will be suitable for any teachers directly involved in the pastoral side of school life such as Heads of Year, but is also very suitable for classroom teachers who want to think and learn more about the central role of relationships in learning and classroom management. 

This pathway begins with two input training sessions from Paul Dix, author of 'When the adults change, everything changes'. The first was about The Pull of Relationships (you can access this here until the end of June 2022) and the second session will be on 26 August, a virtual event hosted by Magherafelt ALC.
