Description: A Level Music aims to build upon the Musical Knowledge that you have developed at Key Stage Three and GCSE and further develop the three fundamental musical activities:

• Listening and Appraising

• Composing

• Performing

It promotes knowledge, understanding and appreciation of past and present musical styles, traditions and contexts. You will study a range of music including Music for Orchestra and Musical Theatre. A Level Music provides an appropriate body of knowledge and skills for progression to higher education.
