Hello my name is Mrs Cush and I am head of Careers here at Saint Kevin's College.

Dear Student, St Kevin’s College is recognised for its broad and balanced curriculum, we currently offer over 30 subject options; this curriculum provides an excellent foundation for pupils to progress to academic and vocational courses at Further and Higher Education institutions, we also provide a curriculum which will enable our pupil’s direct entry to the world of work. This post 16 curriculum book will support you in making the right decision about your post 16 education. It provides you with an insight into our subject options and possible career pathways for each subject.

Here in St. Kevin’s College we offer a combination of courses which are well resourced, using the most modern technology – courses that are expertly delivered by dedicated and committed teachers, who will do all in their power to help you succeed. In St Kevin’s we offer a range of two years and three year post 16 pathways, to meet the needs of individual learners. The subjects available in the two and three year pathways are included in this book.

Pupils from St Kevin’s College are currently undertaking courses in Queens University Belfast, Ulster University; As well as courses at universities in England, Scotland and Wales. Both universities and employers demand a wide range of personal qualities, skills and attributes beyond those provided by academic study. We aim to provide pupils with numerous experiences beyond the classroom. Our curriculum aims to develop various skills and attributes such as teamwork, leadership, self-discipline, time management and self-confidence.
