Hello Families,
I am very excited to welcome your child to 2nd grade! My name is Natasha Molina, and teaching has been my passion since I was a student right here at Challenge to Excellence (C2E). This school was such an important part of my own childhood, and it is an honor to now teach your child—just like my teachers once taught me.
To start the year off strong, I want to share a few thoughts:
I believe that good communication between parents, students, and teachers is the key to a successful school year.
My goal is to create a classroom where students feel supported, challenged, and excited to learn.
Together, we can help your child grow and achieve great things!
You can support your child each morning by:
Making sure they get a good night’s rest
Sending them to school after a healthy breakfast
Giving them a hug and kiss to start their day with positivity
This small routine sets the stage for a wonderful day of learning.
Please feel free to reach out to me anytime with questions or concerns. I look forward to building strong relationships with both you and your child. I am confident that this year will be filled with learning, growth, and exciting experiences!
Sincerely,
Natasha Molina

To keep our classroom safe and clean:
❌ Please do not send snacks that need a spoon (examples: fruit cups, jello, yogurt).
❌ Please do not send colored drinks, as they can stain the carpet.
These items are fine to send for lunch instead.
🚫 Nuts are not allowed in the classroom due to allergies.
We love celebrating students’ birthdays in class! 🎉 To keep everyone safe and included, please review the following guidelines:
✅ Treats must be individually wrapped and store-bought with an ingredient list.
✅ Treats must be nut-free (due to allergies).
⚠️ Check how items are made—for example, some donuts may be cooked in peanut oil.
✅ Bring enough for every student in the class.
⚠️ Some students cannot eat gelatin, so please check ingredients carefully.
If your child has an allergy, please send their own treat so they can celebrate safely with the class.
A birthday can also be celebrated by simply singing “Happy Birthday.”
Food is not required to make the day special.
Some families prefer not to have birthdays recognized, and we respect that request.
Please remember that not all religions celebrate birthdays. We ask students and families to be sensitive and respectful of these differences.
