UC Application Checklist

Action Steps

  • Starting August 1: Create your UC Application account

  • Begin inputing information in your UC Application Account

  • November 1-30: Submit UC Application

  • OPTIONAL: Send official test scores (SAT/ACT/SAT Subject Tests) to UC schools

Reminders

  • Use 1 application to apply to any of the 9 campuses

    • $70 fee per campus, but students who qualify for fee waivers due to family income can apply to up to 4 UC’s for free

    • Fee Waivers are determined by the UCs. You will need to submit family income information on the application to see if you qualify.

  • No need to submit official transcripts or AP exam scores when applying

    • You must self-report your grades and AP scores, and you will be required to submit your final transcript and AP scores once you commit to the school

  • Report your highest overall score from a single test on the SAT/ACT on you application, but request that an official copy of all your scores be sent from the testing agency

    • Highest scores from single test administration will be used

    • Submitting to 1 UC will allow all UC’s to receive your scores
