Create a Cal State Apply Account
Input information in your CSU Application Account (Starting October 1)
Submit CSU Application (October 1-November 30)
Reminders
Use Cal State Application to apply to any of the 23 campuses
$55 fee per campus, but students who qualify for fee waivers due to family income can apply to up to 4 CSU’s for free
No need to submit official transcripts or AP/IB scores when applying
You must self-report your grades and any AP/IB scores, and you will be required to submit your final transcript and AP/IB scores once you commit to the school

A campus receives more eligible applications for a specific undergraduate program (major) than there are enrollment spaces available.

A campus receives more eligible applications than there are enrollment spaces available for the class level (freshman and transfer)
All undergraduate programs, pre-programs, and undeclared/undecided programs are impacted for the following campuses:
Cal Poly San Luis Obispo
Fresno State
Cal State Los Angeles
CSU Fullerton
CSU Long Beach
San Diego State
San Jose State
The following majors are more selective and will often require a higher GPA than other majors:
Nursing
Engineering
Psychology
Biology/Biological Sciences
