If your student is in one of these programs (Special Education or Speech and Language), do not begin the Online Enrollment Process.

We are excited that you would like your child to attend South Hills High School. If you currently live within the Covina- Valley Unified School District Boundaries and South Hills is your assigned high school, please complete the following steps:
STEP 1: Verify Assigned School
Make sure that South Hills is your assigned school. You can enter your address on the School Finder page of the district website.
STEP 2: Online Student Enrollment
Going to the website is the first step in the process to register a new student (not currently enrolled within our district) for school. If you currently have access to the Aeries Parent Portal, this is a different system. You still need to create an account Information about the student such as emergency contacts, medical, and language information will be required. A current email address is also required to begin this process.
STEP 3: Submit Documents
Email copies or pictures of the following documents to shhscounseling@c-vusd.org
(If you have already uploaded any of these documents to Aeries, you do not need to email them.)
Proof of residency: Gas or Electric bill in a parent's name (If you live with someone else and do not have this available, please contact Courtney Greenhagen at 626-974-6208.)
Birth certificate (Hospital Certificate of Birth is not acceptable)
Immunization Records
Grades and Transcript(s)
Record of attendance
Discipline Record or verification of no discipline record from current school
*Please make sure that your child's name is listed in the subject line of the email.
*You may also bring paper copies of the documents Into the school office during regular business hours.
STEP 4: Complete Class Selection Process
Watch the video below based on the grade that your child will be entering to learn about the classes that are available and then select your child's classes by clicking on the New Student Registration link.
If your child will be entering 11th or 12th grade, you can complete the class selection link above and contact the Counseling Office to schedule an appointment with your child's counselor to confirm the selections.
FInal Enrollment confirmation
Once all of your child's paperwork is received and reviewed, you will be contacted by South Hills to confirm the enrollment process is complete. A counselor will review the documents and place your child in the classes you selected or the appropriate classes based on transcript review and class availability.
