Diving Board Rules

  • The diving board will be open when a lifeguard designated to only the diving well is utilized.

  • Only one person on a diving board at a time.

  • Divers must wait for the previous diver to safely reach the pool wall before entering the water.

  • All divers, regardless of skill level, must only take one bounce on the board when diving.

  • Divers may not sit-drop, flip, spin, or perform inward dives.

  • Only swimmers that have been tested for deep water swimming proficiency will be allowed to use the diving board. A parent waiting to catch their child is not allowed.



Water Slide Rules

  • Ride at your own risk.

  • Begin descent only when signaled by the lifeguard at the top of the slide.

  • Slide must be ridden fee first lying on your back with legs firmly crossed at the ankles and arms folded across the chest (to prevent elbows from contacting the flume).

  • Weight limit is 325 lbs.

  • Only dive masks, googles, or eyeglasses may be worn and must be securely affixed to riders with head straps. No toys or life jackets allowed.

  • Swimmers hair and swimming suits (no T-shirts or shorts) must be free of zippers, rivets, or any materials that could scratch the slide.

  • Only one rider at a time. Single riders only!

  • Splash down area is not used for swimming purposes when the slide is open. No jumping or diving into the splash down area. No flotation devices allowed in the splash down area.

  • Do not use the slide while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

  • No standing, kneeling, rotating, or stopping in the flume.

  • Keep your hands inside the flume.

  • Leave the plunge area immediately.

  • WARNING: Water depth is 4 feet 6 inches at the bottom of the slide.


CAUTION: For safety reasons pregnant women and persons with heart conditions or back trouble should not ride the slide.
