The BWRSD provides free bus transportation to and from school for all MHHS students who reside in excess or 1. 5 miles from school. Any student using transportation other than that provided by the school department must bear full responsibility for punctuality and attendance. The parking of student automobiles on school property is a PRIVILEGE. This privilege can and will be withdrawn from those students who violate school rules, regulations and/or attendance policies. All students parking on school grounds must register their vehicle by completing a MHHS Parking Permit Applicatiion.
The parking lots are monitored by school administration and staff as well as the school resource officer. Disregarding parking policies and/or directives of those monitoring the lots will result in privileges being revoked.
The administration reserves the right to search a student vehicle on campus or at a school sponsored event on or off campus if there is a reasonable suspicion that the vehicle contains evidence related to a violation of the code of conduct.
The MHHS campus has a limited number of student parking spaces. Therefore, parking permits will be issued first to seniors. If there are spaces available after all senior requests have been filled, juniors’ names may be placed in a lottery and picked at random for parking permits for the remaining spaces.
Vehicles parked illegally in handicapped parking spaces, fire lanes or unregistered to park on campus may be towed.
Students are responsible for driving in a safe and respectful manner on school grounds.
