The Angevine team was the overall OverDrive (OD) Video Contest winner. They won an OverDrive Media Station (OMS) for the library. The OMS is a kiosk display that patrons can use to explore the OD collection via a touch screen display.
Sanchez won at the elementary level, Aspen Creek for K-8 submission, and Monarch at the HS level. Each of these schools will receive a $50 Best Buys gift certificate.
The marketing folks at OD were completely delighted by these submissions and had a hard time selecting winners, they can't wait to see what students come up with next year.
Thanks to all the students that took on this authentic learning challenge and the teacher librarians that provided guide-on-the-side support to their students.
