This year Innovate will include a Pop-up Maker Expo, a dynamic, kid and family-friendly event for educators, students, and parents to connect with members of the Maker community and learn about the resources they provide to help student-makers tinker, play, explore, create, and make.

Ed Tech's Mobile Maker Kit Beta test is underway! Our Version 1.0 Kits were distributed to 7 TLs:
To support Maker Kit explorations we have created Symbaloo webmix for teachers & students so they can hit the ground running with Kit tools and resources.
Each tester is documenting their use of Kit components and taking photos of students and teachers in action with the tools. Each TL will blog about their experience after the May 15 loan period ends.
Over the summer will be reviewing Kit tester feedback, tweaking Kit components, and developing a checkout system for early next fall. Stay tuned...
