RPG stands for role-playing game. These types of games commonly follow a set storyline and occasionally provide choices.
Pokemon
One classic RPG is Pokemon Diamond and Pearl. Where the player starts with one starter Pokemon and journeys through the world challenging gym leaders to eventually become the champion and "Catch'em all".
