4x stands for explore, expand, exploit and exterminate. 4x is often turn-based or partially a mix of real-time strategy.
The Battle of Polytopia
The Battle of Polytopia is where the player plays an ethnicity, and battles against others. The player can play with bots or other people by passing the device around. The player gets upgrades which can help get the player population and therefore currency. The player can then use the currency to buy troops.
