Dear BVCS Family,

As we enjoy this Christmas season, our hearts are drawn again to the simple, profound truth at the center of it all: Jesus Christ, God with us.

In a world that moves quickly and often pulls our attention in every direction we treasure the opportunity to slow down, take a deep breath, and remember why this season matters so deeply. At Big Valley Christian School, Christmas is more than a holiday on the calendar. It is a celebration of the greatest moment in history: when the Savior of the world stepped into our story with hope, peace, and redeeming love.

This truth shapes everything we do.

Families choose BVCS for many reasons: strong academics, committed teachers, rich programs, and intentional community. And while we pursue excellence in every classroom, laboratory, stage, and field, what sets BVCS apart is why we pursue it.

This week, as our entire school gathered for All School Chapel, that difference was on full display. Preschoolers through seniors lifted their voices in worship, celebrating the birth of Jesus together. It was a beautiful reminder that our students aren’t just learning about Jesus...they are learning to know Him, follow Him, and trust Him with their lives.

These shared moments of worship and reflection knit our community together and point our hearts upward during a season that can easily become crowded with noise.

Our prayer for every BVCS family is simple:

• That your home would be filled with the peace of Christ.

• That your hearts would find rest in His presence.

• And that in the midst of the busy and the beautiful, you would experience the joy that only Jesus brings.
