Choir

All 4th and 5th grade students are welcome to join the Brook Forest 4th and 5th grade choir. This ensemble is an introductory level choir that enhances the musical lives of all students. Students in this class perform music from a variety of cultures and in many languages while focusing on developing the young singing voice through vocal pedagogy, music theory, and music history.

The Butler Junior High School Chorus is a choir open to all middle school students in 6th-8th grades. This ensemble meets twice a week on Wednesday and Friday mornings at 7:30am. Students in the Butler Choir enjoy performing in two and three part harmony, strengthening music theory skills, learning about music history, improving vocal technique and developing a deeper understanding of vocal music.
