Army Ranks

This is a list of the US ranks, going from the enlisted ranks to commissioned officers like the general. I might be making one of the other places army ranks, but this is a detailed list of army ranks! Just letting you know, that this list isn’t exactly perfect, so feel free to correct me!

Specifically, commissioned officers are in positions of leadership, planning missions and leading. They usually finished college before joining the army. Enlisted soldiers take up mose of the army and they are the ones who actually fight. They are a lower rank than the other two. Finally, the warrant officers, who are technical experts in a specific field.

In detail, in front of each soldier rank, you will see a letter-number thing. That is the pay grade this type of soldier gets. The word after is what they are called the letters in the parenthesis are an abbreviation to what they are called.
