General Needs

The Liberty MS Band is always appreciative of our generous family support! The list below includes items that I am currently in need of:

• Tissues
• White Lined Index Cards
• Colored Electrical Tape
• Candy (for prizes!)

Fundraising

Through generous community support of our recent fundraisers and through personal and business donations, I was able to purchase a new Yamaha YBS-52 baritone saxophone and YCL-222 bass clarinet for the students to use. Thank you to all who contributed in some way!

Going forward, I will work with parents and the community to raise funds for the purchase of:

• 3 Yamaha YCL-222 Bass Clarinets
• 2 Yamaha YEP-321 Euphoniums
• 1 Pearl PFP-105 Piccolo
• 6 Conn 8D Double French Horns
• 1 Jupiter JCB-582 Tuba
• 2 Fox Model 41 Bassoons
• 1 Fox Model 330 Oboe
• Yamaha Harmony Director HD-200, Speakers, and Speaker Stands

A quick google search will reveal that each of these instruments are expensive, and the list totals in excess of $50,000. I believe it is a worthwhile goal that our students have quality instruments to use in the learning and performing process and I will organize fundraising efforts in a multi-year project to acquire these needed resources.

If you would like aid these fundraising efforts through a donation of any amount, please mail in this form with your donation, or have your child see me for a copy. All donations are tax deductible and receipts will be provided in early January.
