GEARING UP FOR THE REAL WORLD—Conducted on four different dates, “Taking it Online” is a 4 part webinar series with the objective of providing the Mathematics Society members with an opportunity to learn various practical skills through a webinar setup.

An Introduction to Lean Six Sigma

Done first was “An Introduction to Lean Six Sigma” held on January 29, 2021. The discussion revolved around the techniques that one can use to create a capable and organized process useful not just in businesses but also for personal objectives. The discussion was made by Mr. Christian Caracta and lasted for three hours.

LateX in The Modern World 2.0

Conducted on January 30, 2021 was “Integrating Innovative Technique: LateX in the Modern World 2.0” taught by Mr. Harris R. Dela Cruz. The discussion was about LateX, a software used in the creation of Mathematical researches and other Mathematical papers mainly because of its ability to display not just mathematical expressions but also graphs and images.

Financial Analysis Forecasting for Marketing

The webinar was held on February 04, 2021, it aims to educate the BS Mathematics with specialization in Business Applications students on Financial Analysis Forecasting with Mr. Moises Noe Frias as the speaker.

Python in Data Science

Held on February 06, 2021 with the objective of familiarizing the BS Mathematics students with Python, a software used for statistical computing. The discussion was done by Mr. Arrhus Dela Cruz and lasted for three hours.
