VISION

Mathematics Society (MathSoc) is an organization of BS Mathematics students known for its members’ mathematical abilities, empowerment, integrity and unity with active participation in the social, moral, and intellectual life within and outside the university.

MISSION

Mathematics Society (MathSoc) aims to cater to the needs of BS Mathematics students, hone their abilities, develop their well-being, and to become productive members of the academic community and the Philippine society.

HISTORY

Mathematics Society is a college-based organization in the College of Science recognized by the Office of the Student Organizations and Activities. It was established in the year 1998.

OBJECTIVES

  • Increase the total number of members within the organization

  • Conduct a general assembly with BS Mathematics students with engaging and fun activities

  • Celebrate Mathematics Week and promote BS Mathematics specializations through various activities

  • Provide tutorials and reviews to all its members to burst the intellectual force of the course

  • Organize seminars, field-work activities, educational trips and other Math-related projects

  • Conduct out-reach projects and activities

  • Help out in the activities of faculty and the Office of the Student Organizations and Activities.
