The game takes place inside evergreen research facility where hazardous substance rapidly spread within, making everyone who inhaled it paralyzed and slowly being poisoned. The lives of the infected are in the hands of two survivors who will work together to make the vital cure.
2D Top-down Adventure Sci-fi
Gameplay
The player will experience the game in the eyes of Isaac McAfee, a laboratory assistant helping the brilliant and esteemed scientist Dr. Howard Shannon to find all necessary equipment and components inside the Evergreen research facility to make the cure.
Isaac McAfee explores the damaged facility after the explosion to find different items and accomplish objectives and puzzles using his problem solving skills while avoiding harmful obstacles.
Movement Mechanics
-Walk upwards, downwards, to the left, to the right, and diagonally in the game using a virtual joystick
-Walking over, under, or passing through objects/ equipment and walls are not permitted
Items and Inventory Mechanics
-The player can pick up key items and store it in the inventory
-The player can access the inventory by clicking the bag or inventory icon
-The player can fuse two or more compatible items in their inventory to make a special item by clicking the fuse button
-The player can select items to use for unlocking doors/ storage containers
Puzzles and Objectives Mechanics
-Puzzles are needed to be accomplished in sequence
-Objectives in a level can be viewed by clicking the objectives or tasks icon
-The main objective in each level is finding or fixing a special equipment and gathering components to make the cure
Pushing Mechanics
-The player can push movable objects one tile at a time by holding the push button and at the same time, holding the direction to where the object would be pushed (cannot be pushed diagonally)
*Note: The game clips must showcase your game within 1 to 2 minutes. There should have a sound. No need to edit, just record a simple gameplay.
